Human rights touch all disciplines. In order to do justice to this interdisciplinary approach, professors from four faculties of the University of Graz will examine different approaches, theories and methods of human rights research from the perspectives of law, social sciences, humanities, theology and natural sciences.
The doctoral program serves as a platform for the exchange of scientific knowledge and offers an introduction to the world of science. It is aimed at doctoral students from all fields of study at the University of Graz who are examining human rights issues in their dissertation project.
Part of the doctoral program takes place as an International Joint PhD Workshop at the Global Campus of Human Rights in Venice/Lido. Participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues from other universities and present their dissertation projects to an international audience. The program will be held in English.
